Sashi Movie Review -A dull love story that lacks in originality

Sashi Movie

Story: A singer in a local band has anger management and alcohol issues. The tragedy of his past hit him to the shore and turned him into an alcoholic. He then starts beating a girl whose mental health was affected by a similar tragedy in her life. Will the two help each other overcome their past or will their union trigger the trauma buried within them.

Overview: A picture of a young man with a beard dropping bottles of heart under bottles of alcohol, smoking a pack of cigarettes, and unnecessarily getting into fights with strangers. It is a sign that he is dealing with a tragedy in his life and that is the way to deal with it. Seen somewhere We have Srinivas Naidu's Sashi has followed the tried and tested path of a heartbroken and still fighting hero and is hardly effective.

As soon as Sashi opens, we are introduced to Ram Kumar (Audi Saikmar), who has the ability and ability to go places but is left behind because of his past. His reckless behavior affects his family, especially his older brother (Ajay), who tries to settle him from the past and move on. To further his heart, Raj Kumar shows the filmmaker that he is getting involved in several battles, which are shown to save him from his pain. And then Raj Kumar meets Sashi (Sarvabi) and takes interest in him. He started beating her but never spoke to her. He soon learns that he has suffered trauma in the past that has affected his mental health. Raj Kumar wants to help him, but his presence has given rise to an incident in his past.

The filmmaker gets tired of portraying the main character as a sad, bitter hero and after a point, you stop feeling sorry for him. In fact, by the time the main character in the film begins to show the reason behind his heartbreak, your interest is already gone. We've been introduced to a new character in the middle of nowhere, but it hardly resonates with you. However, Sashi's biggest problem when dealing with mental health issues is his lack of seriousness. Take the example of a woman who is in a state of mental health, miraculously healed by hitting her on the head with an iron rod. Surprisingly, professional psychiatrists will benefit from this, considering the iron rod, it seems that this problem can be solved, which doctors have not been able to solve for years.

The only refreshing thing about the film is the song Oka Oka Lokam, which has been shot and well-composed. But a weak script does not leave much room for performance. Audi is impressive in parts but it is eliminated due to stereotypes. Sohrabi looked good on screen but could express more than that.

Sashi fails to overcome the tried and tested formula of heartbreak, friendship, and love and this formula does not work. The main character's characterization - irresponsible, perverted Brett with anger management issues - brings a Deja Vu to a special hit film that made waves in Telugu cinema. Four years later, however, it hardly feels fresh. With Sashi, you get the feeling there, see it
